Our baby Ava Elizabeth turned 1 year old last weekend!!! It is hard to believe as it feels like yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital. I guess it is true what they say "time flies when you're having fun" and we are definitely having fun with our sweet girls!
We had a super fun polka dot party and enjoyed a warm afternoon with family and friends. G-ma Nancy, Aunt Carrie, Aunt Lori, Aunt Lisa and baby Paige all made the trip from Oklahoma for the birthday festivities. Special thanks to everyone involved in helping mom make the birthday cake. It was an all day adventure..ha ha! Ava loved eating the polka dots off her cake and was a little tired and fussy by cake time....but she did make a big mess eating it the next day! She had a blast playing with all her girl friends (there were no boys). We need some boy playmates and are looking forward to baby Cooper's arrival next door in April.
