We enjoyed a "friends Thanksgiving" in St. Louis this year at the Muenzer's. It was an enjoyable afternoon with great friends and great food! One turkey was fried which was a first and fun to observe.....even more fun to eat! The house was filled with the girls running around playing dress up as any and every Disney princess you can imagine. We have so much to be thankful for!!
We had a super fun time when Krisha & Shepherd came to visit us! No trip is complete without a shopping trip to H&M, and Ted Drewes Ice Cream! We even enjoyed an outing with the girls to the Science Center where they were budding scientist for a day and enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Companion Bakery in the Central West End! However, the most fun was watching the girls play and TRY to drive the barbie jeep in the backyard. Let's just say they all need a driving lesson or two!! :) :) :) Can't wait to see you again in the Lou! We Love You!!!
Living in St. Louis has the major advantage of being so close to the fabulous city of Chicago! So we have made a pact to make as many trips as possible! Many friends before we left mentioned "enjoy the cold" but much to our surprise we had the most beautiful weather ever.....upper 60's sunny and gorgeous!
We had a blast as usual and enjoyed catching up with our friend Vip who took the girls for some fun at the ESPN zone after dinner. Emma G discovered how much fun it is to eat with chopsticks at Big Bowl. Daddy took the girls for a morning of fun at the Shedd Aquarium, where they were able to see a dolphin and whale show!! Mom enjoyed a morning of shopping and catching up with her friend Eileen! We all met up for lunch at Xoco, a new restaurant by Rick Bayless. It is based off of mexican street vendor food and was fantastic!
No trip is complete without taking the girls to the American Girl Doll store and of course Ikea! CHICAGO, WE LOVE YOU! Can't wait for our next adventure!
