OOH CHICAGO!!

We couldn't resist making one more trip to Chicago before our move out west!! Leave it to the "foodie mcgreevys" to plan our trip around food and it was so worth it! Our first stop was "Big Star" in Wicker Park and it was AMAZING to say the least! A very hip, loud, trendy street taco joint. Sorry, Rick Bayless but we now prefer Big Star! Can't wait to go back! We were blessed with beautiful warm sunny weather and enjoyed a concert at Navy Pier, an afternoon at the beach and a boat ride for the girls!! It was fun to take the girls to the American Girl doll store again and hit the famous "Gino's East" Pizza for lunch! We always love "Big Bowl" and could not help ourselves for some yummy Asian cuisine. It was so fun watching our girls eat with chopsticks. Dad found an awesome after dinner treat of frozen yogurt at "Berry Chill" and it was to die for!! Yes, our trip was A LOT about food, but mostly about having FUN as a FAMILY and that we did!! We will miss you Chicago, but don't worry the McGreevy's will be back to the Windy City for sure! Thanks for all the great memories!!!
