Emma's first Trophy!

Emma's first season of soccer has been such a fun experience for everyone. We have made wonderful new friends, learned the joy of being on a team and gained some super soccer skills too! Coach Brian could not have been a sweeter person, teacher and friend to us all. He played soccer for the Air Force Academy and brags about being such a competitive person, but you would never know it from his interactions with the kids. The SCORPIONS had a winning season this year but I can't tell you how many times coach Brian would have our team play with less kids just so the other team could score some goals and experience that joy as well. He has such a kind heart! We were lucky to have Reed on our team who was our "ace in the hole". He is such an adorable little boy who is a lefty like Emma and lives for soccer. Emma said when we have girls princess movie night she want's to invite Reed over to be the prince.....so sweet! Yes, it has been an awesome season and Emma would like to play again but the BEST was seeing her eyes light up when she was given her first Trophy.....PRICELESS! We LOVE you EG....especially that you are sharing your precious trophy with your little sis!
