Skiing Snow Bowl!!

It is incredible to me that only a 2 hour scenic drive north from Phoenix will take you up 10,000 feet to the beautiful mountain town of Flagstaff and a surprisingly really nice ski resort Snow Bowl!! I must say I was hesitant at first.....who thinks about skiing when you live in Arizona? But, I was amazed!!

We decided to take the girls on Ava's actual 3rd Birthday and it was PERFECT!! It was their first time to ski. Emma spent the day in Ski School and Ava took on the slopes for the first time with mommy & daddy!! Both girls were amazing.....Emma's instructor said she was a natural and could ski the first hour of class!! Ava had no fear and like any independent 3 year old just wanted us to let her go so she could "do it by herself"!! She loved to go fast and only had a couple of near tree encounters....ha ha!

We had so much fun and were happy when both girls didn't want to leave!! Ava has been asking every day when we can go "ice skiing" again!! We hope soon! Such fun to watch our little girls learn to ski and we're looking forward to many more family ski trips in the future!!
